Vintage Motocross Event

Vintage bikes - 1990 & older only may participate.

**Riders must be 18 years & older. (if anyone is under 18 & is interested in riding; they must contact VMX  before the event - contact info is located on vmx website www.vmxalberta.com)

  • SUNDAY JULY 14, 2019  -  CANCELLED  DUE  TO  WEATHER.
  • Camping permitted Saturday July 13, 2019. No hookups, no reservations  -  CANCELLED
  • Portapotty, picnic tables on site
  • Age of participants - assorted, some surprising older than anticipated (hint... 80 + years young)
  • Skill varied - 1st timers to accredited vintage Pros that use to race these bikes in 1950s - 1990
  • VMX event takes place on a natural terrain custom design grass layout that mimics traditional MX
  • Enthusiasts and the curious are welcome to see some extremely rare and not so rare vintage bikes from many different brands 
  • Stop and check out the bikes and talk with the competitors about the bikes and racing years ago, and particpanting and riding these vintage bikes today
  • No charge for spectators
